How to Request Deletion

1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Güügli account deletion request", or send us a message via our contact form.
2. Send the request from the email address associated with your Güügli account when possible.
3. Include your Güügli username or sign-in email address to identify the account.

If you cannot access the email address, explain the situation so we can verify ownership through another secure method.

What Is Deleted or Anonymized

• Account credentials, authentication tokens, and active sessions.
• Profile identifiers such as username, display name, and registered email address.
• Personal account data associated with login, support, claim, and contact workflows.
• Personal links between your account and submitted reports, corrections, reviews, or photos where removal or anonymization is technically and operationally appropriate.

What May Be Retained

Certain non-personal data may be retained, anonymized, or unlinked from your account where necessary to protect map accuracy, prevent spam/abuse, comply with legal obligations, or preserve approved community stand information.

Examples include verified stand locations, historical opening hours, and security logs that no longer identify you personally.

Processing Time

We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days. Once processed, your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
